GIVE ME 5
Story
Fifteen years ago, we established team GIVE ME 5 to raise money for the Royal Children’s Hospital – www.giveme5.com.au
This endeavour has been an amazing success – Team Give Me 5 has been the highest fundraiser in all of Victoria for the past 15 years and since inception has raised over $776,000 for the Royal Children’s Hospital.
All funds raised by Give Me 5 in 2024 will go directly to the Joey Pod Project at the Royal Children’s Hospital which is creating a space to provide a new model of care for kids with severe eating disorders. The current model is that kids can either get medical care on Kelpie, which stabilises them and gets them eating again, or mental health care on Banksia which works to address the root cause of the eating disorder. Joey Pod combines the expertise of both wards so kids can get specialised care. It’s a 3-bed customised space, with admissions usually being for two weeks.

Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal Ltd
The Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal (Good Friday Appeal) brings together people from all parts of the community to raise money for the benefit of The Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne. Funds raised support research, state-of-the-art equipment, education and training, and family centred care programs.
