Story
I’m taking part in the 2026 Herald Sun/Transurban Run for the Kids and making an extra contribution by raising funds for the Good Friday Appeal.
Our friend who is now 15 years old was diagnosed with Cancer in 2022. It has been, and continues to be an extremely tough journey for him. Our strength and support is with him and his family, this is why we are running in this event, to help raise money to support our friend and all kids in need.
Since 1931 the Good Friday Appeal has been raising money to enable The Royal Children’s Hospital to continue to give children their brightest futures.

Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal Ltd
The Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal (Good Friday Appeal) brings together people from all parts of the community to raise money for the benefit of The Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne. Funds raised support research, state-of-the-art equipment, education and training, and family centred care programs.
