I'm taking part in the 2026 Herald Sun/Transurban Run for the Kids and making an extra contribution by raising funds for the Good Friday Appeal.

The reason this cause is so close to my heart is Matilda's incredible journey. When she was just 5 hours old, Matilda began her relationship with The Royal Children's Hospital. Despite facing 3 brain surgeries, 19 rounds of chemotherapy, countless operations and thousands of seizures throughout her young life, Matilda is now 13 years old and will be participating in Run for the Kids on her own two feet for the very first time.

Stories like Matilda's show the life-changing impact of the Royal Children's Hospital. Since 1931, the Good Friday Appeal has been raising money to enable The Royal Children's Hospital to provide world-class care, giving children their brightest possible futures.

Your donation will support crucial research, state-of-the-art equipment, education and training, and family-centered care programs that help children like Matilda every single day.
